Who We Support
Cancer Patients
You don't have to navigate cancer alone
Everyone’s experience of cancer is different. Whether you’ve recently been diagnosed, are undergoing treatment, are living with cancer, or have completed treatment and are adjusting to life afterwards, having somewhere you feel understood can make a difference.
Our support hub provides a safe, warm and welcoming place where you can meet and talk with other people who have experienced their own cancer journeys.
There is no expectation to have the right words, share more than you are comfortable with, or even talk about cancer at all. Sometimes simply spending time with people who understand can provide reassurance, friendship and a valuable sense of belonging.
Support through every stage
We recognise that the impact of cancer doesn’t necessarily end when treatment does. Life during and after cancer can bring changes, uncertainties and challenges that aren’t always easy to explain to those who haven’t experienced them.
Our community is here for people at every stage of their cancer journey — past and present, women and men, and people affected by all types of cancer.
Through our regular hub meetings, you can:
- Meet others with shared or similar experiences
- Talk openly in a friendly and supportive environment
- Listen, share experiences and learn from one another
- Build friendships and connections within the community
- Hear from invited NHS, private healthcare and other relevant professionals about support, services and resources that may be available
We do not provide medical advice. Instead, where specialist information is helpful, we work to connect our community with appropriately qualified organisations and professionals.
A place to simply be
Cancer can sometimes make life feel centred around appointments, treatments, results and difficult conversations. Our hub is intended to be something different.
It’s a place for company. A place to listen. A place to talk when you want to. And a place where you can be around people who understand that navigating cancer can continue long after you leave the hospital.
Sometimes you don’t need advice. You just need somewhere you feel welcome.
You are welcome here.
